Physical body

When we look at the whole body as a reflection of our sevenfold structure of consciousness, we can see that the physical body, being the outermost layer, is merely a reflection of the six subtle bodies within us. The physical body manifests what is happening inside these subtle bodies, revealing what our psyche could not process and has instead stored as blocked energy, which may later manifest as an ailment.

It is important to fully understand the systems within the physical body.

  1. Circulatory System / Cardiovascular System:

Circulates blood throughout the body via the heart, arteries, and veins, delivering oxygen and nutrients to organs and cells while carrying away waste products.

Helps regulate body temperature.

  1. Digestive System and Excretory System:

Absorbs nutrients and removes waste via the gastrointestinal tract, including the mouth, esophagus, stomach, and intestines.

Eliminates waste from the body.

  1. Endocrine System:

Regulates bodily functions through hormones.

  1. Integumentary System / Exocrine System:

Comprises the skin, hair, nails, sweat glands, and other exocrine glands.

  1. Immune System and Lymphatic System:

Defends the body against pathogens.

Includes a network of lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph.

  1. Muscular System:

Enables body movement through muscles.

  1. Nervous System:

Collects and processes information from the senses via nerves and the brain.

Controls muscle contractions to enable physical actions.

  1. Renal System / Urinary System:

The kidneys filter blood to produce urine and remove waste from the body.

  1. Reproductive System:

Includes reproductive organs responsible for producing offspring.

  1. Respiratory System:

Facilitates breathing by bringing air into and out of the lungs.

Absorbs oxygen and removes carbon dioxide.

  1. Skeletal System:

Provides structure and support for the body and its organs.
