This program provides foundational knowledge for community health workers in British Columbia to safely assist with or administer medications. The curriculum covers provincial standards, legal boundaries, and clinical documentation requirements. Participants will learn the seven rights of medication administration, how to handle controlled substances according to BC regulations, and strategies for recognizing adverse reactions.
